Proposed Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan - PG&E Retained
The Watershed Planning Committee of the Stewardship Council forwarded to the board of directors for its consideration and possible adoption the proposed Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan for lands to be retained by PG&E at the Blue Lakes planning unit in Alpine County, California.
The draft LCCP was made available for a public review and comment period from February 18, 2015 to March 20, 2015.

Final Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan - USFS Donated
At its April 29, meeting, the board adopted a final Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan for lands to be donated to the United States Forest Service at the Blue Lakes Planning Unit located in Alpine County, California.
The Final LCCP describes how the proposed transaction and related agreements conform to and fulfill all requirements of the 2003 settlement Agreement and Stipulation.
The draft LCCP was made available for public review and comment for a 30 day period from Wednesday, February 18, 2015 to March 20, 2015.

At its March 30, 2011 meeting, the Stewardship Council Board of Directors recommended the United States Forest Service (Eldorado National Forest) as the prospective fee title donee for 1,032 acres of land at the Blue Lake planning unit, located in Alpine County.

At its December 2, 2010 meeting, the board recommended the Mother Lode Land Trust as the prospective conservation easement holder on the property.
Land Stewardship Proposals
On Sept. 3, 2010, the Stewardship Council received a land stewardship proposal from the US Forest Service who is interested in being considered for a donation of fee title to certain lands located within the Blue Lakes planning unit. The information and statements contained in the proposal were prepared by the respective organization. The proposal is presented 'as is' and the Stewardship Council does not make any assertion regarding the accuracy or completeness of information presented, nor does the proposal necessarily reflect the views of the Stewardship Council. The proposal will be reviewed and considered prior to any recommendation by the Stewardship Council for a donation of fee title to lands within the Blue Lakes planning unit.
Please note that the Land Stewardship Proposal submitted by the United States Forest Service linked below concerns several planning units in addition to the Blue Lakes planning unit.
