Advice Letter to California Public Utilities Commission Regarding Philbrook Reservoir Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan - PG&E Retained
On October 30, 2019 PG&E submitted an Advice Letter to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) pursuant to Public Utilities Code Section 851 requesting the CPUC's approval of PG&E's encumbrance with a perpetual conservation easement to 277 acres at the Philbrook Reservoir planning unit in Butte County. The conservation easement on these acres will be held by Northern California Regional Land Trust.

Final Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan – For Lands to be retained by PG&E at Philbrook Reservoir
At its January 24, 2018 meeting, the board adopted the Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan for lands to be retained by PG&E at the Philbrook Reservoir planning unit. The conservation easement on these lands will be held by Northern California Regional Land Trust.
The LCCP describes how the proposed transaction and related agreements conform to and fulfill all requirements of the 2003 Settlement Agreement and Stipulation.

At its September 16, 2010 meeting, the Stewardship Council Board of Directors recommended that PG&E retain all of the lands (approximately 277 acres) in the Philbrook planning unit, located in Butte County.
Recommendation on Prospective Fee Title Donee (81 KB)
At its September 15, 2011 meeting, the board recommended Northern California Regional Land Trust as the prospective conservation easement holder on the property.
